In December 2022 OfSTED concluded that:

‘English is a particular strength. Staff know their subjects well. They plan activities that build on what pupils have been taught before and check carefully that important knowledge has been remembered. Pupils take pride in their work, and many work studiously in class and on home learning projects.’

‘Leaders are ambitious for all pupils to achieve well and develop into well-rounded individuals. Pupils enjoy learning the challenging curriculum.

‘Pupils learn well across the curriculum and are well prepared for the next steps in their education.’

‘Pupils are safe and trust staff to help them if they are worried about anything.’

‘The promotion of mental health is a high priority in the school.’

GCSE results 2023. The department consistently supports the high progress outcomes for the school and are in the top achievers across the country.

Prior to interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education. Please note this online search will be carried out only on publicly available information and be limited to issues relating to your suitability to work with children and/or in a school environment. Issues that arise will not automatically be a bar to your employment at this school.
